Hi! I just started postcrossing because I like sending and receiving postcards from friends…and now I think I’m ready to take the next step and exchange postcards with strangers from around the world. I started sending postcards to friends and family back in September 2010 when I first arrived in Beijing, but ever since I was a little girl I’ve always loved writing and sending letters to people. My friend Marie recommended I try postcrossing when I first started sending postcards, but at that time it was a bit inconvenient and expensive, plus I was studying and going around China so I was a bit reluctant to try it at first. But now that I have more time and more space to exercise my interests, I have decided to take a slow step towards mailing postcards. Because for me, a handwritten letter or postcard, both when sent and received, entails a much more personal feeling than just sending a text or an email or an e-card, especially in today’s modern and technology-filled world.

So, just for the sake of making an online list of which countries I’ve sent postcards to or received postcards from, I’ve made this page on my blog. At the end of the page, you’ll notice a separate list of personal postcards I’ve sent to and received from friends and family.

Includes postcards I’ve sent through the post office, whether or not they were received/arrived at their destinations. Also, some places will be less detailed than others, for privacy concerns.
